What cosmetic acupuncture is
Cosmetic acupuncture, also called facial acupuncture, places acupuncture needles at tension-releasing and lifting points on the face. These are combined with constitutional body points, chosen for you, and red light therapy. Gentle techniques and premium organic products are used to nourish the skin.
The aim is a holistic, personalized beauty treatment that brings out your natural, radiant glow while leaving you feeling calm.
The idea behind it
In Chinese medicine the mind is represented by the heart, and the heart opens to the face. There is a saying that whatever resides in the heart is expressed in the face. So the treatment does not stop at the face. It calms the mind and balances the body, and it also focuses on points on the face that release tension and lift.
If your face holds the day, a tight jaw or a furrowed brow for example, this is the part of the treatment that speaks to it.
What a visit looks like
Your first session includes a detailed intake and a treatment plan. You tell Roozbeh about your health, your lifestyle and what you would like to see change, and the plan is built around that. Then you relax and enjoy the treatment.

One session or a series?
Cosmetic acupuncture is best done as a series. Your plan is set at your first visit, so you do not need to decide in advance.
How is it different from microneedling?
Cosmetic acupuncture works with acupuncture points and the connection between mind and body. Microneedling and nanoneedling work on the layers and surface of the skin with herbal serums. Microneedling goes deeper and is used for scarring, lines and texture. Nanoneedling is a gentle surface treatment with no downtime.
They are different tools, and some people combine them. If you are not sure where to start, say so when you book and the plan can be set at your first visit.
